Sanremo 2018 – Sting e Shaggy cantano Don’t make me wait

Sting e Shaggy ed i loro ritmi caraibici sono stati i primi ospiti internazionale di Sanremo 2018. I due artisti hanno intonato Don’t make me wait, brano che anticipa il disco scritto a quattro mani nel quale hanno cercato di ricreare musica, spirito, vitalità e cultura tipiche di questa isola dei Caraibi, sapientemente mixati con sonorità pop ed energia rock.

Prima della performance con Shaggy, Sting aveva cantato Muoio per te, le cui parole furono scritte per lui da Zucchero. La canzone è la versione italiana di Mad about you; questa versione è stata inserita come traccia bonus nelle edizioni italiane dell’album The Soul Cages e della raccolta Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984-1994.
