Kendrick Lamar è il trionfatore degli MTV Video Music Awards 2017: il rapper di Compton si è infatti portato a casa due fra i premi più prestigiosi della serata, compreso il Best Hip Hop Video e il Best Video of the year, entrambi ottenuti grazie alla clip di Humble. Lamar e il suo team (dietro alla macchina da presa c’è stato il genio di Dave Meyers, non certo un novellino) sono inoltre stati in grado di acapparrarsi alcuni premi tecnici come quello per la Miglior Fotografia, la Miglior Regia e i Migliori Effetti Speciali.

La serata degli MTV VMA’s 2017, condotta da Katy Perry, è stata impreziosita dalle scatenate performance di Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, P!nk e Miley Cyrus, e dello stesso Kendrick Lamar, che ha aperto lo spettacolo con un medley di DNA e Humble davvero infuocato.
