L’evento è stato trasmesso in livestream in diretta dal GRAMMY Museum di Los Angeles e sono state anche annunciate le candidature per le due nuove categorie, ovvero Best Global Music Performance (Global Music Field) e Best Musica Urbana Album (Latin Music Field). Le nomination sono diventate 10 nelle quattro categorie principali, con l’obiettivo di includere più artisti e generi musicali. Tra gli artisti più nominati abbiamo Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga e Tony Bennet, Billie Eilish e Lil Nas X.
