Una vera sorpresa per tutti. Nessuno si sarebbe mai aspettato che il cantautore americano ottenesse questo riconoscimento. Bob Dylan infatti, nato nel 1941, è una delle voci più importanti e significative del 1900 e dei nostri giorni. Dagli anni ’60 Bob Dylan è stata la vera e propria voce prima della sua generazione e poi del mondo. Ancora oggi è uno dei cantautori più amati al mondo. Non solo in America. È stato proprio Bob Dylan a scrivere una delle più suggestive canzoni sulla vita e sulla morte come Knockin’ on Heaven’s door. Qui vi riproponiamo la canzone che è stata più volte ricantata da molti cantanti. Forse la più famosa di Bob Dylan. Il testo solo per farvi un’idea di con quanta semplicità Dylan racconti la morte. Sicuramente la scelta di dare un premio ad un cantante, anzi ad un poeta come Bob Dylan è una scelta originale da parte di Stoccolma. Bob Dylan ha scritto canzoni che andavano ben oltre la metrica e le note. Ha scritto veri e proprie poesie che sono state per tantissime generazioni inni. Perciò non è una scelta sbagliata da parte di Stoccolma premiare Bob Dylan. Un autore come Dylan è un premio meritato. Tanto più che anche se ci sono quelli che magari non amano Dylan come interprete, sicuramente è indiscutibile che Dylan ha scritto alcune canzoni che sono vere e proprie poesie. Premio quindi meritatissimo. In caso non vi piacesse lo stile di Dylan ci sono diverse cover del cantautore.
