Madre! – nuovo spot del film di Darren Aronofsky con Jennifer Lawrence

In attesa della presentazione, che avverrà in anteprima nell’ambito del Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, prosegue il lancio di Madre!, attesissimo film di Darren Aronofsky. Dopo il rilascio del primo trailer ufficiale, è stato pubblicato da Collider un nuovo spot in anteprima grazie a cui è possibile immergersi nell’atmosfera serrata del nuovo film del regista de Il cigno nero.

Protagonista indiscussa del film, a fianco di un tenebroso Javier Bardem, un’inedita Jennifer Lawrence che dovrà fare i conti con paure nascoste e misteriosi sconosciuti che, uno dopo l’altro, busseranno alla porta della sua casa.

Insieme a Jennifer Lawrence e Javier Bardem, nel cast vedremo anche Michelle Pfeiffer ed Ed Harris nei panni della coppia di estranei che si presenterà nei pressi della dimora dei protagonisti.

Una trama appena accennata per un film che segna l’atteso ritorno di uno dei registi più personali del cinema contemporaneo. Restiamo in attesa di ulteriori dettagli e news che non tarderanno ad arrivare in concomitanza con il Festival di Venezia.

Madre! uscirà nei cinema americani il 15 settembre, mentre in Italia dovremmo aspettare fino al 2 novembre.

IMPERIAL BREWERY, #KansasCity The old #ImperialBrewing Co. building is a long-vacant, fire-charred tribute to the city’s golden age of breweries. From 1890 to 1910, Kansas City’s population nearly doubled to 248,000, as did the manufacturing sector. Part of the growth is attributed to demand from local breweries. Imperial Brewery was started in 1901 by investors from St. Louis and local saloon owners. It had all new technology for its time and set trends that are still used today. The tallest building on the grounds was the brewhouse. Grain was hoisted to the top level, and then using gravity it was transformed into beer by the time it got to the bottom level. As the brewery grew, so did the movement of prohibition across the country. Producing alcohol became illegal in 1919. As these buildings were built for very specific purposes prohibition was a death blow to the brewing industry. The Old Imperial Brewery building was turned it into a flour mill until 1985 when it shut down for good. The Imperial Brewing Company is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
