A tre mesi di distanza dalla messa in onda, sono state rivelate tutte le nomination e anche il primo performer che sarà l’incredibile Bruno Mars! Ad avere il più alto numero di nomination è Drake, con ben 12, a seguire The Chainsmokers con ben 11 tra cui Song Of The Year con il brano Closer. Tra le nostre conoscenze Selena Gomez conquista due nomination come Female Artist Of The Year, insieme ad Ariana Grande, e Best Fandom. Sei nomination invece per Justin Bieber che ha ben due possibilità di aggiudicarsi un premio per la categoria Dance Song Of The Year. Justin è infatti candidato sia con Cold Water e sia con Let Me Love You! Entrano in classifica anche i DNCE con due nomination, una delle quali in Best Cover per la loro performance di Hands To My Self.
